German Chamomile is one of the many herbs recognized as a drug by 'The United States Pharmacopoeia', 'The Pharmacopoeia of Great Britain', and 'The National Formulary'. The primary essential constituent for which it has received such official status is Azulene, a known anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic. Azulene is the component that gives Essential Oil of Chamomile it's rich blue-green color and can also be seen as a greenish-blue hue on the chamomile buds.

It is important to harvest chamomile just before the flower is fully open while the Azulene levels are at their highest.

One of our most popular skin care and massage formulas, this product is a blend of essential oils of Bergamot Orange (Citrus bergamia) imported from Italy, Lavendula officinalis and Rosemary officinalis. We recommend this oil for a rejuvenating aromatherapy massage, as a toner for general skin care, as a mood enhancing bath oil and to soothe dry irritated skin.

This therapeutic oil is prepared from a base of fresh, organic Calendula, Chamomile and Hyssop infused in olive oil.

Ingredients: Olive oil, essential oils of Lavender, Rosemary, Bergamot, and organic extract of Calendula, Chamomile and Hyssop.
